Bixio Music Group

Bixio Music Group is an Italian music publishing company established in the 1920s by the late Cesare Andrea Bixio.
Cesare Andrea Bixio composed 'La Canzone dell’ Amore', a hit that was included in the first Italian “talkie”. Cesare continued his music endeavors by assembling a group of young artists known as the Italian Evergreens.
Through the years, Bixio Music Group continued to put together a catalogue containing compositions including Italian canzoni, full soundtracks by Ennio Morricone, Lalo Schifrin, Nino Rota and Pino Donaggio, as well pop and San Remo hits.
Every composition from the catalogue is simultaneously released on Cinevox Records, Bixio Music’s own record label.
Bixio’s first soundtrack was released in 1966. As of 2009, Bixio songs have been featured in over 650 Italian films.
Bixio Music catalogue has been recently used in major motion picture releases, such as ''Rounders'', ''Dawn of the Dead'', ''Goodfellas'', ''Mickey Blue Eyes'', ''Titus'', ''The Godfather Part III'', ''Kill Bill: Volume 1'' and ''Drag Me To Hell''. Most recently, Bixio’s catalogue has been put to use to score the latest Quentin Tarantino film ''Inglourious Basterds''.
The RZA, G-Unit, T.I. and Keith Murray have drawn from the company's catalogue as well.
